Woodwind Quintet plays at the Taylor Community in Laconia, 3 p.m. in the Woodside Building. 

6th Annual Lou "Black Eagle" Toy Run sponsored by the Combat Vets Motorcycle Association and the Native American Toy Fund, 10 a.m. check in at the Laconia VFW Post 1670 in Laconia. Annual 'Explore A Truck Day' in Laconia. Kids of all ages and their parents will be able to explore all kinds of vehicles. 10 a.m. to noon at the Laconia Public Works garage on Bisson Ave.

Ashland's Eighth Town Wide Yard Sale, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., rain or shine. Maps of the yard sale locations are available for $1 at Memorial Park in Ashland. 

'Cabaret for a Cure' benefitting both the American Cancer Society and the Pittsfield Players.
