The Gilford Parks and Recreation Department is sponsoring a pick-up co-ed volleyball program for adults ages 18 and up from 7-9 p.m. in the Gilford Middle School Gymnasium. This program runs each Tuesday through the spring. There is a $2 fee per participant, per evening. No pre registration is required. Inaugural Mae West Pet Benefit Run hosted by Sick Boy Motorcycles. Riders meet at Rally Headquarters on Lakeside Ave in Laconai with kickstands up at 11:30 a.m. Donations are $25 per ride and $20 per passenger. Participants will receive a free t-shirt and will be entered into a raffle for various prizes. 100% of the donations and proceeds benefit the Lakes Region Humane Society.

Walk Fit at Meredith Community Center. 8 a.m. InterLakes Collaborative of Active Seniors a great group for exercise and good fellowship. Walk in the gym during inclement weather.

8th annual Peter Makris Memorial Run held to kick off the 91st Laconia Motorcycle Week. Registration, breakfast and line-up starts at the NAZBar & Grill. The police escorted ride around the lake begins at 11 a.m. Proceeds from this event benefit the Laconia Fire Department and the Easter Seals NH "Veterans Count" program.
